What I Do

I offer unique and tailored training sessions, health education, AND nutrition counseling specified towards YOUR needs and goals. I believe in EDUCATION over TRAINING, meaning I teach you how to train, and then set you on your way. Typically I meet with folks once per month to explain the program, teach the exercises, and answer any questions.  Then I use online tools and technology to stay connected and efficiently train folks so its convenient and cost effective for all. It is a waste of time and resources (in my opinion) to meet with a trainer several times per week mostly so they can "count reps" for the trainee.  I prefer to educate and empower folks and then let them work out and train on their own.  With my knowledge of FMS movement screens, background in TRX, and expertise in ACE’s Integrated Fitness Training (IFT) model, I specialize and promote FUNCTIONAL exercise and NATURAL movement in training - utilizing the body as one efficient machine with all its moving parts synergistically contributing to overall stability, mobility, flexibility, strength, and health. I pride myself on understanding the human body and how it is meant to move. I also educate clients on proper nutrition and tips to stay naturally healthy as to promote longevity and vitality throughout life.

Why I Do it

You see, fitness is not only my career, its my PASSION. I believe in healthy living and its my goal to spread an HONEST knowledge of healthy living so everyone can enjoy life on this earth.  I work hard for my clients to ensure they get what they want out of their training. I have several certifications and continually seek out new education experiences to further my knowledge of fitness, exercise, and healthy living; so that I can then pass along that knowledge to my clients. I am not your “average” trainer. I am a Nationally Board Certified Educator as well; I don’t want to train you, I want to EDUCATE you how to train yourself and live well! I also annually compete in runs, triathlons, adventures races, and more. So in other words, I practice what I preach and simply want to help others be more healthy.
